The Process

The Grocery Gals shopping experience 

The process is simple through the Grocery Gals website. You’ll place the order using the online shopping cart, be specific about preferred items or we’ll choose the name brand product, unless you suggest the generic brands. At the end of the process, you’ll provide a credit card to be pre-authorized until the shopping is complete. *The card will be pre-authorized for more than the actual amount, but of course only charged the total cost of your order plus delivery and service fees. Please send your order at least three (3) days prior to the arrival date. There is no refund for specialty items. 

Service areas:

Grocery Gals serves the Franklin County community. 

Shopping:

Grocery Gals will shop at any requested store and pick up specialty items as well. Grocery store choices are Piggly Wiggly, IGA and Sparks & Sons, which is located on St. George Island. Specialty items include items bought from smaller food stores or vendors. There will be an additional $10 charge for specialty items plus 20% of the total cost of the specialty items.

Organic Products:

Limited items in our area at this time, but we will get what we can for you. *If these are not available, substitute items will be purchased unless specified otherwise.

Service Fees: 

We charge $60.00 for shopping and delivery plus 20% (or $20.00 for purchases under $100.00) on the total purchases. For last minute (under (3) days prior to arrival) and same day service an additional $25.00 service fee may be applied.

Franklin County residents Only: Must be home at the time of delivery to the door. Grocery Gals will not enter the home. Apalachicola, Eastpoint areas are charged $25 shopping and delivery plus 20% of the total purchases. Carrabelle and St. George Island areas are charged $30 shopping and delivery plus 20% of the total purchases. If you have Questions, please call or text Christy at 850-596-9155. 

Delivery Location:

Grocery Gals will use the information you provided us in your order form to contact the property owner or property Management Company prior to your arrival. All arrangements will be made through them and no extra work on your part!

Payment:

We accept ALL major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Additional Orders:

Contact us by email or phone and we will gladly help you with your order!

Cancellation Policy:

All orders cancelled within 24 hours of your arrival will be subject to a $100.00 termination fee. If you do not cancel your order, your credit card will be charged for the amount of all purchased items you requested.

Issues concerning an order:

Grocery Gals will always strive to deliver the items requested in a professional manner and with care. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any issues. We promise to do our best in solving and making sure that your experience with our service is of highest quality. 

Expectations of Service:

Grocery Gals will have everything placed neatly in the kitchen, cold stuff in the refrigerator and others arranged nicely in the pantry. There will be nothing for you to do, except to begin your vacation with family and friends! We’re happy to help make your trip one to remember here on the Forgotten Coast!
